COUNSELLING
FOR TEENS

A safe space for teenagers and young adults to work through challenges, build confidence, set achievable goals and find direction at school, uni and beyond.

In person, online and by phone. Start with a free 15-minute discovery call.

White Structure

What we help with

School and exam stress

Managing workload, pressure to perform and the build-up to big exams.

Subject, course and career choices

Exploring strengths and interests before choosing subjects, courses or a first job.

Confidence and self-doubt

Building self-belief and a stronger mindset when comparison and doubt get in the way.

FOR PARENTS

CONSENT

For clients under 18, we talk with a parent or guardian about consent before sessions begin. Parents are welcome to join the free discovery call.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Sessions are a private space for your teen. We agree up front what will be shared with you, and we will always act if there are safety concerns.

STAYING IN THE LOOP

With your teen's agreement, we can arrange brief check-ins on general progress and goals.

Three steps to your first session

1

Book a free call. Fifteen minutes to talk about what's going on and whether we're a good fit.

2

Meet your counsellor. Choose in person, online or phone. Your first session maps out where you are and where you want to be.

3

Build momentum. Follow-up sessions turn insight into action, with short check-ins between sessions on the program package.

About me

I am the founder of Apertavia and a life and career counsellor with over 20 years of experience in demanding corporate environments. My background includes senior roles in finance and real estate across Europe and Australia, where I developed a deep understanding of high performance, leadership, and the pressures that come with ambitious careers.

I hold a degree in International Business from HTW Dresden in Germany, and later completed postgraduate studies at the UNSW in Sydney. Alongside my corporate career, I also worked as a guest lecturer at universities. It was there that I discovered my true passion: mentoring and guiding people as they grow, redefine success, and realise their potential. I later formalised my counselling path by graduating from the AIPC and completing specialised training in adolescent counselling.

Having personally thrived in high-pressure environments, I now focus on making a meaningful impact by helping clients navigate career transitions, personal challenges, and the search for purpose. Through personalised guidance, I help clients in unlocking their strengths, setting clear and achievable goals, and moving forward with confidence and balance. Together, we create clarity, direction, and a path that aligns with who they truly are.
